YOUTH INVESTMENT

LeMarqueChown Energy Trust focuses on investing in local communities where we can facilitate change and make a positive impact.

The philosophy is best explained through a colleague who talked about ‘’green patches’’ and ended up calling his company Green Patch Consulting. By investing in areas that seem most likely lost, or are worst neglected, the investment sprouts green patches in otherwise seemingly barren areas that are most in need. These green patches sprout and soon a sea of interconnected green patches overwhelm the stark, bland, barren landscape.

One small seed sprouts a green patch. Soon others are attracted to invest and make a difference. Then it grows. And over time greener, more prosperous futures take root.

LCET has invested in making a difference in organisations that aim to build skills, confidence, and brighter futures for young people especially in communities that need a helping hand.

Emergency Assistance Volunteer Support

Emergency Assistance Volunteer Support

EVS is a citizen-based NPC organization of dedicated emergency services volunteers from all walks of life who selflessly give of their time to help their fellow citizens in times of emergencies and disasters. We are organized into Community Emergency Response Teams in our local areas.

We do Wilderness Rescue, Wildland Fire Fighting, Medical Response, Disaster Response and Event Support

Eco-Active Sport

Our Water Awareness and Sports development programmes are focused on the youth. The water awareness/drowning prevention programmes are targeted at primary school learners. Eco-Active Sport also offers a Learn to Swim (LTS) programme for water safety awareness.

We believe that being taught the skill of swimming empowers learners by exposing them to future opportunities and other sports activities.
